Maybe my day 20 gift wasn't much for anyone else, but it was certainly a gift for me! I came into work, closed my door, and simultaneously worked on a project that doesn't require much attention and read a book I am totally into right now. The afternoon flew by! I got a lot of my project done, and I got a lot of my book read. It was a wonderful day, very relaxing. Plus, it is fun seeing my staff on Saturdays.

Fridays are my assistant's day off. She is so helpful to me during the week, it is easy to justify rewarding her, even if it is something small. To help her out, I spent an extra hour at work doing some of her chores that she would normally have done Saturday morning. I have never mentioned it to her, and she doesn't either...I'm not sure if she knows it is me that does it! What a nice feeling though, to be able to do something to make her day better.

Thanksgiving with my husband and father-in-law, and our three puppies. What a wonderful day! My husband, who is an amazing cook, made our entire meal. My gift today was for my husband. I made sure to tell him how good his meal was and how much I appreciated him cooking for us all. When I called my family to with them a good day, I made sure to tell my mom (within earshot of hubby) how wonderful our dinner was. Same thing when we called my in-laws. Found a really cute gift idea on-line, decided to try my hand at clay sculpting. I was quite pleased with the results, and am considering making more small gifts to stocking stuffers. I can't wait to see the recipients reaction when she opens the little bag!
