- Why I'm choosing to give:
- For years I had given items to others, been a helping hand and I have wanted to do more. I have prayed about doing more then I saw about 29 gifts from a woman I am on a yahoogroup with. Was this the answer to my prayers? As I lay awake most of the night, I knew I needed and wanted to give more and this venue was my discipline to do just that.
- What I'd most like to receive:
- Whatever God wants me to receive. In making this decision, my heart has opened up from where I had closed it off from a past abusive relationship.
Now, I'm ready to truly give with an open heart and ready to receive in abundance whatever good comes my way with an open heart.
- How did you hear about the 29-Day Giving Challenge?

- About me:
- I am a senior caregiver and get to give 18 hours a week and help make the days of the elderly better!
I live alone (without my beloved dog who is now in heaven with God). I enjoy my life to the fullest and doing more for me on my down time so I don't get burned out.
I now celebrate my close friends with cards and small gifts once in awhile to let them know I care and love them.

How I Want to Super Duper Give

This has been on my heart for two years. This was first my mother's dream and since she isn't able to physically do it herself, I would like to make her dream come true.
I want to go to Thornton, Arkansas and help the below poverty level people. I want to teach them to read and write. I will be ther for 6 months.
I would like everyone to pray that if this is God's will, the finances and what I need will be provided.

Several people have spammed me about their business in my Inbox. Who do I report this to? I have deleted one of the messages and now another!

Giving is Now A Way Of Life for Me

Before doing 29 gifts for the first time, I did give to people but not every day. Now, giving has become a way of life and I do take time to give to myself - to decompress - to relax. I have started to do something for myself every day. Before, I would only do something for myself once in a blue moon (and we don't see those very often).
I have found some interesting things out about people through my gtiving.

It was a very difficult Mother's Day for me yesterday. While I have had 4 pregnancies and no live births, my mother refuses to acknowledge that I am a mom. I know there are other moms out there that have had stillborns, abortions, miscarriages, and a death of a child through horrible circumstances so I have started my own support group - We Are Moms Too!
My way of healing as well as giving support and comfort to others.
