- Why I'm choosing to give:
- Several friends of mine have started giving, but it wasn't until my depressed roommate came home and called her day "interesting." She asked me how my day was, and I was so stuck on her word "interesting" I couldn't think of anything else. She proceeded to tell me a story about how stuck she felt this morning, but how excited she feels now that she's decided to do the challenge. I'm inspired to have the opportunity to give 29 gifts alongside her. And it turns out that I gave a gift today (donation to Obama's campaign) so I'm primed to start.
- What I'd most like to receive:
- The embodied awareness that giving is easy, and I do it all the time! So why not claim it?!
