Yesterday was a tough "giving" day. I was in Boston for the day and thought for sure my "give" would present itself, it always does when I am there. I was at a doctor's appt. and every time I am in that neighborhood there is a Vietnam Veteran that stands in the median collecting spare change. I have given him a dollar on past occasions while sitting at the light waiting for it to change. So my thought was to give more than I usually do and say a little prayer for him. My first day of giving was awesome. I took some time away from my work and helped with painting a scene for the theater group that my daughter belongs to. I thoroughly enjoyed it; so relaxing and it was a good feeling to know that I was helping out. Even volunteered to sew some costumes....didn't know I would be volunteering for that, but I was on a roll!! :)
