- Why I'm choosing to give:
- I have been dealing with severe depression, anxiety and feelings of worthlessness due to two lay offs that have affected me over the last 12 months. I have been so caught up with trying to figure out my next move career wise that it has become overwhelming. I know giving to others will be extremely rewarding and remind me that I can make a difference in this world!
- What I'd most like to receive:
- I have been very blessed in my life with many gifts. I know that by giving to others and not focusing on my career issues, I will be rewarded with seeing other lives positively affected.

- About me:
- I am seasoned sales and marketing professional who has had a successful track record working with major Fortune 100 companies. Due to the economical down turn, I’ve been affected by two lay offs within the last 12 months. The first lay off was challenging however, I was able to find a position within a couple of months of being unemployed. The second lay off was completely unexpected! I was informed of the lay off the day I returned from my honeymoon. I went from being on life's high to rock bottom emotionally. I have experienced severe depression, anxiety and feelings of worthlessness. I understand that all these emotions are normal for people dealing with the circumstances that I have encountered however; I have always been a positive, energetic, person. I know I've been blessed with many gifts. It's time for me to use those gifts the their fullest potential. I have been inspired by Cami’s story and her words…”Things will fall into place if you get out of your own way!!!”
