Day 2

Yesterday was my second day of giving...I think the first few days will be the easiest as I had some things already planned and that made it easy for me. Each year our church sends hundreds of Christmas cards to the troops and the congregation are the ones who take them, write thank you and stuff in them and brings them back and we mail them in bulk over there. Day 1

Today was my first day of giving...the kids and I put together a box full of snacks and special cards for their cousin who is off at college right now. I know that he doesn't spend alot of time grocery shopping so all food donations to him are super appreciated :)

Profile Information

Why I'm choosing to give:
Just heard a great sermon today at church about becoming a good samaritan, not only by giving of yourself and your time, but by helping those who can't help themselves through justice and reconciliation. I'd love to be able to give something worthwhile each day for a month.
What I'd most like to receive:
To have others join and also start to give as well.
How did you hear about the 29-Day Giving Challenge?

About me:
