I fell off the wagon so to speak. I had a give not turn out the way I hoped, and it got me all off kilter, so I'm gonna start over. I have to say, I found myself thinking...oh I don't need to do this 29 days in a row blah, blah, blah, but I'm not going to give in to the negativity. :) Will start again in a few days.

My day 10 give fell around my children once again. They had both been with friends for a good part of the weekend, and we usually make them take a day off to relax once they've had a sleepover as they both seem to get over tired and a bit cranky if they don't. However, since it was a three-day weekend, they were both begging to have friends over or to be able to go out with friends. We decided to let them go ahead this time, and so far they've kept the crankiness in check.

Just a small give today. Like many people, by the time I'm done with work for the day, I'm ready to relax for a bit. However, I work from home, which is very nice in some ways. However, the con of it is some people don't seem to get that you're working because you're at home. For the most part my family is pretty good, but my kids are always wanting me to run here or there the second I finish for the day. Yesterday was my mother-in-law's birthday. She is one of those people who never does anything for themselves, and It's a very rare moment that she buys herself anything new. Because of this, I like it when Christmas and her birthday role around because she's so easy to find something for. She had been talking recently about a few things she has, which are very meaningful to her, that need fixing, so we made sure she would have the funds to do that plus go out and spoil herself a little.
