On Friday I treated my good friend Annee to a night of writerly fun. Anne Lamott, one of my favorite authors, was giving a talk at a church nearby, and so I bought us tickets awhile back so that we could get out of school and do something fun (she was an English major, too). Mass Mailings

A little corner of my apartment has been accumulating outgoing mail items for awhile now, and today I needed a break from schoolwork, so I took my new ride on a trip to the local post office!!

I sent my grandma a deluxe crossword puzzle book, as she is 90 years old and just moved into a nursing home. Pineapple muffins

The other day I had a dream about eating pineapple muffins. Since my mom always told me to "follow my dreams," I woke up and googled pineapple muffin recipes. Mmm, they were super tasty, and since I had mad 2 dozen I decided to drop some off at my favorite middle school (where my MIL works and where I often substitute teach). Everyone really enjoyed them!!
