Today I felt drawn to reach out to a friend that I hadn't seen on Facebook in awhile. She emailed me and filled me in on the fact that her husband has been out of town for over a week due to some medical issues with his father. After emailing her to let her know that I would be praying for her and her family, I went into my card stash and sent her a card along with a $5 Starbucks gift card.

I had a much better day today with my giving!
Last night I started a massive purge in my closet and ended up taking a trunk full of stuff to Goodwill.
I also started purging the massive collection of books that I've been hoarding forever. I put aside 3 large piles to take to my daughter's preschool to donate to the school's book sale fundraiser this upcoming weekend. I put aside a smaller pile to offer to friends - two books I dropped off this…

So my last post, I wrote about an interaction I had with a grandma at the thrift store.
It seems that the Lord had more in store for me because over the past few days, I've had very similar interactions with other people. And I'll get to that in a second.

I've had a lot of chaos going on over the past few weeks. I've been so focused on making sure my world didn't fall apart that I haven't really been focused on my 29 Gifts.
