I haven't made time to write, but I have managed to be mindful of giving and receiving every day. The Giving Calendar really helps.
Most of gifts I've given haven't been that note-worthy. A few days I got almost to the end of the day, and realized I hadn't given a gift. Several times I fell back on "I tried to listen deeply to someone today." And luckily, I can always "count" a thumb massage for my guitarist husband, even if it's a short one!

I was curious to see if I could actively give while getting back to my regular routine of work and responsibilities.
While home sick, I had prepared a small bag of herbal teas, cough drops, EmergenC packets for my coworker, who'd also been sick. I had planned to gift it to him on Friday, but neither of us made it to work until Monday. So that was an easy gift that I had already prepared. I haven't written in about a week, so I have some catching up to do. I have been "writing" these blogs in my head, though, and it is fun to have something to write about! I used to write regulary and even published a few pieces about 10 years ago, but I haven't felt inspired or motivated. It is so interesting that my experience with the challenge so far has been very different than my “normal” life. My typical day is FULL of people and activity.
