Not only have I joined the 29 gift movement but,as typical, I got others to join in too! I belong to several knitting groups and wanted to knit 29 hats to give away for the holiday season. I was having a fabulous day. I work in different locations and today I saw all my favorite people. They had not seen me for a while so they were excited to see me just as happy as I was to see them. I was feeling so appreciated and great that I nearly forgot my purpose for the day. Yes, I was nice to everybody I saw and of course helpful but did not get a chance to really give. I am reminding myself that it is important to blog everyday. The fact is otherwise I forget and the day becomes a distant memory.

Day 5 is "post veteran's day" for me. Hard to beat the great feeling I had that day. So, small gesture. but needed. My stepson was is desparate need of a shower curtain. What a great day! Not hard to give on Veteran's Day. Started off with thanking my husband, a Vietnam Vet. Gave him a cute card and signed the dog's name too. Coincidentally, another friend's birthday over the weekend. She just turned 85, looks 65 and is so cute and adorable. I have to hug her everytime I see her!
