- Why I'm choosing to give:
- Out of respect and love for the person who invited me - though I haven't actually spoke to her for a while. Because it is a great idea. Because I am working on being positive in what most people would regard to be a bad time/place. Because I love myself and want to extend that love to the world to make a difference
- What I'd most like to receive:
- Love and freedom. An income to allow me to comfortably stay in my house and still spend the fantastic amount of time I can share with my son at the moment (I am currently out of work).
- How did you hear about the 29-Day Giving Challenge?
- From someone who used to be a close friend (though we have never met)
- About me:
- Mother, wife, sister friend.
Love music, dance and taekwondo but rarely give myself the gift to do them. Love watching football (soccer) and cricket. Love spending time with friends
Normally earn my living as an IT professional - bit of a techie, love solving problems (technical, process or business related), love helping people to grow which I get the chance to do when I train them - which has also been a big part of my career path.

Support our Cause of the Month
In November, we're sponsoring a cause that has been started by fellow giver, Lubabat. We are so deeply touched and impressed by Lubabat's strength of character & spirit. Lubabat was diagnosed with MS in the mid 90s and then in August of 09, she was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. Her reaction has been so inspirational - she is thriving through giving. She is hosting a Christmas Give and her theme is "going small to make a big impact" We have named her our November Cause of the Month and would be grateful for your support!
