Day 25 Baking Bread

Posted on April 2, 2009 at 5:35am 2 Comments

I had a hard time getting going yesterday morning. My neighbor is getting a new roof, nice, however my son also was a roofer and it brought me down for awhile. I arrived back home late from my part-time job very tired. But alas, I had to bake friendship bread from a starter my girlfriend had given me. It was day 10 and the starter needed to be added to, separated, and baked. My receive today was somehow having the correct ingredients for the bread. I had just 3 eggs, 2 boxes of Instant Vanilla… Continue

A Monday and it was good, imagine. I had a doc appt, then a "quick" stop to Christmas Tree Shop (is that possible?). I had a return and then bought more, of course. Actually I found a great gift for my daughters 26th birthday on 4/9. She loves birds so the clock with the chirping birds on the hour will be fun for her. That what gifts are for, fun. I made a "picture" out of the "Love Recipe" I found on a blog. I bought a frame for it to give as part of my bridal shower present.

Then I… Continue

Day 23 and a walk for me

Posted on March 29, 2009 at 8:30pm 3 Comments

The end of another day. Aaahhhhh..... a dizzely day. I spent time on Ichat seeing and talking with my daughter in VA. Love that girl so much.

We all have a wedding to attend in June so we were discussing what to purchase. I am able to get some items for less money and offered this to my ex to help him out. He was grateful and I felt good about it.

I made yummy stuffed peppers for Neil and I for dinner. It was a relaxing meal.

Finally a big give to me.....I went… Continue

Day 22 Go UCONN

Posted on March 29, 2009 at 11:43am 3 Comments

Saturday was a nice day. Easy going and calm. I put "work issues" away in a draw where I couldn't see them. Monday they can come back out.

I clean Neil's house once a month for him, it's an extra job and cash for me. Then my friends came over to his house to watch the UCONN game, yeah they won. We went to a great dinner nearby, then back home for some fun WII, coffee and.....

Lots of laughs, stories, giving and receiving going on. Wonderful that I now recognize a normal… Continue

Thanks for your comments on my blog post and I'm glad you have rediscovered Louise Hay. I've have known about her and the book for a while but have really just begun over the last six or so months to really put action behind the words, doing the affirmations and the mirror talk seriously. I truly believe that many of us need to focus within and really heal our own souls so that we can soar and fly like we were truly meant to. Take Care and thanks again for sharing!
