Salt or sugar scrub is nice. It's a lot like the bath salts recipe. Just salt or sugar, a little oil as moisturizer, and a drop or two of a nice essential oil. I especially appreciate this on my hands when they've gotten really grubby…

Trip giving...

Posted on November 4, 2008 at 11:35am 1 Comment

I am off on a business trip.. How and what to give...? It will take a bit more forethought but I think I will take along some note cards and my address books to send off some letters to friends to let them know how precious they are to me...

Cleaning out...getting ready for abundance...

I am clearing out big time. I do follow the principal that if you want new things in your life you need to make space. I am in transition of changing careers. I am going back to school. I am closing down my business that I have been nurturing for 10 years. I was angry when I saw it coming, I was sad when I realized it needed to happen and now I am ready to clean house and get ready for the new. Clearing out my studio, clearing out the garage...What to do with all this use able good… Continue

Excess....and the value of a gift for the giver..day 3

What good is it to have extra stuff..? That storage of stuff for some day when I might need it? I have so much stuff. Why do I keep hanging on? Maybe it has something to do with having been without. Am I only as good as the stuff I have?

Am I more successful because of the car I drive? The house I have? Do I need this stuff to find self worth? Then if I am my stuff what happens when I give my stuff? Is that why it is so hard to give some stuff and not other stuff? My ego is tied to my… Continue

giving...accidental or purposeful...?

Posted on October 29, 2008 at 3:30pm 8 Comments

I have been pondering....

Is it giving if you are getting in return? or is that trading?

Is it giving if you leave a tip or are they working for that tip?

Is it giving when it happens accidentally...? Keep the change...?

Or is giving truly giving when it is a pre-meditated thought -then action-then followed though?

Does two gifts in one day excuse me from the next??

Is a gift of opportunity different from the gift with forethought? Giving a kid a ride because he… Continue

You think about things so much like me that it makes me laugh! I over-analyze things, too...it's good to know that someone out there thinks like I do.
Loved the story of the Artsy party. What a great idea.
