Profile Information

Why I'm choosing to give:
Im choosing to give because I want to turn around the feeling that theres never enough, taking the focus off me. I want also to feel pleasure at giving and focusing on the postive and not on the lack.
I realised I do give alot, but I feel bitter and burnt out alot of the time. I dont give myself any acknowledgement and so hope to turn that around.
What I'd most like to receive:
A sense of peace, satisfaction, wellness in my body,a feeling there is enough to go around. I want to heal my body mind and soul.

Day Sixteen

Posted on October 22, 2008 at 12:21pm 0 Comments

Well Im feeling like Im not giving much at the moment, like Ive lost my mojo. lol. I know I give each day but Im not feeling great about it. I gave a donation to an ad I saw on tv last night about saving pigs from factory farming. It was heartbreaking, seeing them in these cages. Am taking my son to school this morning. I am doing a mace session at a reduced price this afternoon, and Ive set up a time to help someone I distantly know, shes got pneumonia and a few other health probs and I… Continue

Day Fifteen

Posted on October 22, 2008 at 12:19pm 0 Comments

Yesterday I loaded alot of auctions on trademe. I decided that I would keep the prices low and get rid of the stuff rather than sit on it and try and get the money. It was like my gift to people, offering the stuff I think is great but not for me anymore. I also spent the morning waiting for son to get up and take him to school, hes got a bad cold and he slept in.

Day Thirteen

Posted on October 20, 2008 at 2:14am 1 Comment

Today I drove my son to school. Hes sick and I know just giving him the car is stressful for him. So I drove him to town. In the last day Ive been reading about a new way of seeing money, and I like this womans approach, and she hsa coaches who are charging $1 for personal coaching, not sure why, perhaps they are trying to gain practise or clients but I was thrilled to find that out. I also did a reading tonight with someone who just wanted to chat with me, and she was really upbeat and… Continue

Wow, I cant believe Im whipping through the days. Well I didn't sleep so well last night, but got up early to make sure the dvd recorder and Mysky was recording something for my man. He had set the timer wrong so just as well. I also got him a cup of tea in bed. So far so good lol

I was talking to sky tv and i emailed customer service in order to give praise to the woman that i spoke with, i found her very efficient.

I cooked my man an omelette for lunch, and went and… Continue

Kate,
A great big Hey from Woodstock, Ga, USA! I am so happy we have so many givers from all over the world! Thanks for joining at such an exciting time! I am on the 1st day of the 5th round of 29 days. I hope you have the wonderful experience here that I have!
Let me know if you need any help! We did a "give" in Atlanta 2 Saturdays ago and gave away 100 roses on the sidewalk, it was 9 members from the metro ATL area, we started a "local" group, and you can too!
Make friends, read blogs, write blogs and leave other folks comments! Post pics and videos, join inner groups and GIVE! Have fun and watch for miracles to happen in your life when you do 29 in 29!
