- Why I'm choosing to give:
- During Christmas time, I usually get very overwhelmed by all of the commercialism of the season. I have a hard time reasoning through spending so much money on needless things for other people, but especially how it always turns out in getting needless things for yourself. So I would like to join everyone out there who is giving for the right reasons, giving for the joy of simply giving and loving those in my life.
- What I'd most like to receive:
- I would most like to receive memories of a special holiday season that I will never forget. And a connection with those in my life who I should never take for granted.

- I am a recent college graduate from the University of North Texas. I majored in Therapeutic Recreation and loved the origin of this challenge. I work full time as an Outdoor Education Instructor in Van, TX at Sky Ranch.

- Kate! What I've seen by day 9 is how much fun this can be.
