Hey all.
My site The Gift Prolific has been having a great month. I am on day 27. For those who haven't heard about it I am giving a gift away each day for a year....then I am making a small painting about each day's gift. At the end of the year (next year at Burning Man) I am going to gift away all of the paintings!

So I took a little break. Sometimes you just need to. This break has allowed me to come up with one heck of an idea.

So ... This has been one of those really shitty weeks. And I was on VACATION!!!!
Uhm. My wife's family had us fly out for my wife's nephew's wedding. While the wedding was nice the vacation was for the most part very stressful for me. I felt like we were just starting to get thing financially headed back to the right direction and we really couldn't afford to go on vacation. I was right. We are broke. I believe in karma. Not in the way most people do. I am closer to Zen buddhist on the subject. It is not exactly what comes around goes around. That I believe is simple action and reaction and understanding that all things are connected. Make bad waves....and you will drown. Make good waves and the swimming is at least more doable. I believe this is because when you do 'right actions' you are allowing your true buddha nature to arise. Like polishing a stone.
