That's not a typo, this weekend was a 'weak' end to a work week of giving. But an incredibly GREAT weekend overall. SO looking back, I'm caught reminding myself that giving has many meanings.... here's why.

SO... I'm thinking.. what do I do with this starbucks giftcard I really won't use?
After much internal dialog about how to give away I thought maybe since it was a starbucks gift card, I should take the starbucks approach.
Simplicity.
If they can sell black water for $4 a cup.. I should be able to walk up to the counter... order something small... pay for it... then turn to the person in line behind me and give them the card.

So I won this $10-20 Starbucks gift card for being 'Most Irish Dressed' at yesterday's pot luck.
Seeing as how I'm not a big fan of Starbucks (most probably out of envy of them figuring out how to sell brown water for $4 a cup) I figured I'd give it away in the spirit of my 29 day challenge.
As I walked past the starbucks in our office I thought about different ways I could give the card to someone...

- Why I'm choosing to give:
- To change a little something about myself. I wouldn't consider myself a visibly caring type of person although I tend to be 'reactively generous' when I know someone close to me needs something. I'd like to see if I can be a little more purposeful in my giving.
- What I'd most like to receive:
- On old working pinball machine. Pretty tall order, I know, but right now it is what I'd most like to receive. Aside from that, I wouldn't mind some old stuff/junk from the 50s that I could make a robot sculpture out of. Since we're wish-listing it... a trip for 3 to Ireland would probably cover all bases.
