- Why I'm choosing to give:
- I believe that at the core of it all, we are giving and loving beings that have become disconnected with the world around us. In our drive to succeed, prosper, achieve perfection and to please others we have lost our true selves and forgotten how to live. We have created an imbalance in our body, mind and spirit that invites pain and makes happiness seem out of reach and implausible. If we could only achieve harmonious balance within ourselves and with all that is around us - then we could reconnect with the positive energy that instead invites love. We could reconnect with our higher power and find comfort in the feeling that we are an important part of something bigger and greater. Through giving this is possible. Through giving we receive many gifts that help to restore the balance in our lives and of the lives of others. Through the love and joy of giving we learn to live, to be happy, to find ourselves and to reconnect and stay plugged in.
- What I'd most like to receive:
- the gift of finding and loving the true me, the gift of connecting with others and a higher power, the gift of balance, the gift of less pain and more love and the gift of knowing that I am good enough.

- About me:
- I am a 37 year old mother of the world's best furry and scaly critters. LOL. I have my own mini zoo that includes my beautiful dog Kira, my sweetheart cat Kasey, my gorgeous cornsnake Amazon, my cute little tortoise Spud and my two moody skinks Phoebe and Adrian.
My passions include traveling, photography, animals/nature, volunteering, scrapbooking, laughing and sleeping.

Day 27-29

Day 27 - I decided that for today I would 'leave some love' (leave positive comments) for some fellow scrapbookers on their projects
Day 28 -I gave my mom a book today that I bought especially for her because she really needs it. I'm in the process of reading it myself. It's called "100 Ways to Simplify Your Life"
Day 29 - whew!!! shoveled the driveway, sidewalk and walkway for my mom. This was probably only the 3rd time in my life that I have shoveled snow! I… Continue

Whew! Been keeping busy and not able to blog daily so time to catch up!
Day 24 - today while out shopping for my furry critters, I purschased some cat food to help someone else out.
Day 25 - To help my mom out with her business, I devoted the entire day to working on her new forum and blog.
Day 26 - I finally got official approval from management to institue a monthly collection drive for care packages to send to the troops at work. So I went out and bought some… Continue

Day 21: I can't say too much about it, but today I covered for a friend during a real time of need.
Day 22: today I did another anonymous give at work. I took a $25 bookstore gift certificate, slipped it in an envelope with one of my little notes and sent it in an inter-office envelope to a randomly selected employee in my building.
Day 23: today treated my bf to some clothes shopping that were really needed

Got a little catching up to do!!
Day 18 : I am by no means handy or technically inclined, but for today's give I thought I'd try to hook up and activate the Tivo that my mom received for Christmas. Otherwise she would have to wait who knows how long for my dad to be able to come by and hook it up. It took me longer than it probably would anyone else, but I got it done! It was all ready for her when she got home.
