- Why I'm choosing to give:
- I've been trying to get rid of things that no longer serve a purpose in my life and that may benefit others by being made useful.
- What I'd most like to receive:
- I would like to feel an improved flow of energy in my life, which I currently feel is blocked and stagnant. This includes improved inter-personal relations and increased financial prosperity.
- How did you hear about the 29-Day Giving Challenge?
- About me:
- I have been in recovery for severe depression after car accident related injuries. While I've been unemployed, I've led yoga groups, sung in church choir, helped the local theater and worked for charities. Those activities have utilized skills and talents of mine that I've not been able to gain a living from doing, but that I enjoy sharing with others. I often feel that people are more interested in getting something than giving of themselves to others. That is why I love the principle of this experiment. I think it would be interesting to keep track of these gifts while making a solid pattern of giving for 29 consecutive days just to see what that's like.

The yoga wshops I refer to are usually the ones that may be a plane ride away, with a few big names leading the courses.
The resaon I do not ask my mother for anything is because it doesn't do me any good. She walked out of my life when I was 10 years old and she has been walking out on me ever since. She doessn't even try to be good to her kids. She thinks the world of her worthless man and thts the only person shes worried about. She lives about 3 houses up from me and I was scolded by hot water on Christmas and I was unable to walk for 2 weeks. I would see her walk by my house and never stop. That hurt me so bad.I love her but she is not capable of returning the favor so I just stop trying. I am so glad that you and your mother get along. I wish I could with ine,but, I think it's too late. Her choice not mine. Have a great day and thank you for the listening ear.
