When I woke up this morning, the buzz from yesterday's events had worn off. I was tired and cranky and in no mood to give. My poor dog didn't even get her daily walk. My aunt, sister, and two cousins are doing a book club. "29 Gifts" was the second book. I started it today while sitting at the lab waiting to have blood drawn for a routine test. Almost every chair was full and I expected about an hour wait. Thirty minutes into my wait, and the book, I was called to give my information. The woman behind the desk looked harried. I started out today planning on making loaves of bread for my sister and my coworkers as my gift. I did this early in the day and thought I was done with my third gift. However, later on at work, I was ringing one of my coworkers up when she realized she had forgotten her debit card at home. I payed for her purchase and she was surprised and grateful. Two gifts in one day. Once you start, it's so much easier to keep going.
