Days 28 and 29!
Yesterday I took a friend out to dinner. Today I brought a load of garden debris to the dump for the local community garden where I have a plot.I can't believe this first round is over. It doesn't feel like its over, so I guess it isn't really. I don't know if I'll continue to post, but I do know that I will continue to give at least that little extra. My extra give for the day now seems selfish. At the time it sounded like a good give, and now its all I've got! Today, instead of going home to a project I was looking forward to working on, I spent time with a couple of acquaintances who wanted me to hang out with them. I ended up really enjoying the time, so it doesn't feel like a give at all.

I hiked up the (168) stairs to my friend's house again to retrieve and mail some things she forgot to bring with her on her trip. So tired today, I can't write another word!

Hmmm ... I aspire to be 100% accepting too, but ....
Nobody's perfect. We need to accept ourselves, faults and all (I'm kind of talking to myself here, been having issues with that lately).

Days 20 and 21
Yesterday I let my son watch the Andy Goldswarthy art video Rivers and Tides, although TV is usually off limits. Its such a good film, it mellows him out, and makes him happy and creative. Today I apologized to my husband for this week's PMS tirade. I aspire to be 100% accepting, at every time of the month. I fear what the future of menopause holds.

For day 23 I hosted an Easter celebration for family who were on a brief lay-over from Kauai. For day 24 I took care of my friend's 6 year daughter all day because she had the day off school and her mom didn't. Today I was able to stop myself from being negative with my son after hearing from his teacher that his behavior has been terrible for a couple of weeks.
