Well, I have been kind of busy. I was working a part time job on top of my full time one, trying to raise more funds for the adoption process. I was burning out & gave my notice ... just in time for our little girl to arrive. No joke. My husband and I reflected in our annual journal last night that 2010 was especially difficult to endure. We are looking forward to 2011 & hope it will be less stressful & emotionally draining!

It's been a while since I posted, although we've been very mindful of giving in the past several months. We have been working so hard on the adoption process, and yet we do not yet have a child in our family. We recently made the decision to switch to a national agency, despite the fact that it would double our expenses ... meaning we were short on funds by about $15,000.

I have to say that although I don't visit often or work to "formally" give every day, giving is in my heart almost every day. It feels fabulous to witness the ripple effect of brightening someone's day.

Some of you may recall that I was so fortunate as to win Ashana's Beloved CD. Well, I've been enjoying it thoroughly & I suddenly thought ... I should share this! So, I took it into my yoga teacher today & gave her a gift tag (and a hug!) after class. She was very touched!
