- medical retirement 10 yrs ago 2' MS [was a physical therapist], married, no kids, 3 dogs [currently, at least], live in the country near a very small town, devout Christian [not as good a one as i'd like to be], fairly content w/ my life at present. married for 44 yrs to my high school sweetheart; he had a stroke in '01, also has severe COPD but is very determined to stay as active as possible.

i can't believe it's nearly gone - seems like i just started last week [and if you go by the promptness of my postings, that'd be about right, hehehe] i have been good about my gifting, just not posting. did a couple of gifts today - a bath for our friend again, and gave some supplies to our local senior nutrition site - they're chronically on a really tight budget. yesterday my husband and i took some friends visiting from illinois to lunch, and i sent her sister a 09 silver eagle to… Continue

Sheesh - i'm getting worse instead of better - it's been a ragged week! my husband spent a couple of nights at the VA, talked him into going to the ER while we were there last thursday, and his O2 level was way down, plus he had bronchitis and was coughing up green crud [he'd been telling me it was yellow to clear, but told dr it was green - so they kept him a couple of days - but he's back home and feeling better so it was worth it - he has severe COPD so his lungs don't have much… Continue

I've remembered to give, just not to blog! Wednesday's give was working on a friend's head/neck to relieve a migraine - after which he felt better and was able to sleep the rest off. Thursday I worked on a couple of my football boys to relieve spasms before game day, and Friday as usual i worked on several before the game - as i tell them, it's more effective and easier to loosen them up beforehand than try to fix it during the game! also i did my weekly shopping/library run and made it a point… Continue
