- Why I'm choosing to give:
- The title of the book and the blurb on the bookstore website inspired me to buy it, I started to read it and decided to give it as a gift to my partner. It was exactly the perfect gift. I love intuitively finding and choosing something that feels right for someone as a gift. In the last few days since giving the book, I have been seeking ways in which I can help people. it has been a delightful experience, like random acts of kindness.
- What I'd most like to receive:
- There is nothing I personally need. As I have moved through life there have been those moments of enlightenment where one realises that the most important things are the inner qualities of peace, compassion and understanding. Making the world a better place is what makes my heart sing. Helping others to find their own inner contentment makes me happy.
- How did you hear about the 29-Day Giving Challenge?
- A bookstore website. I was scanning for inspiring titles for myself and children's books for my grand nephews. I was intrigued to read Cami's story.
- About me:
- My passion is facilitating the Avatar Course and empowering others to create change in their lives. Gandi's quote 'Be the change you want to see in the world' inspires me. I had lived a lot of my life making others wrong for this and that and had an epiphany moment at a time when I was greatly distressed. With blinding clarity I realised the only person I needed to change was myself. To make the changes I decided to take the Avatar Course, it has been the best decision I ever made and brings joy each day into my life. I love working with others, life's challenges, sharing and growing.
