I have been deeply moved by the response my small gifts have gotten from the universe. So many to report, but suffice it to say that once my first 29 days are completed, I will start another 29-day cycle! I have been strictly following the 29-day giving challenge and have learned so much. It has been a true gift to me. Although I started this because my life story was very similar to Cami's, I have already gotten so very much from my experience with this wonderful project. - I was diagnosed with MS in 2005, and I have been unable to walk unassisted since 2007. My husband of 14 years and 2 kids take great care of me, but they have lost the mother and wife that they had before my diagnosis. My 25 years of buddhist practice has pointed me in the direction of winning every single day. Seeing Cami this morning was a true gift from the universe. Thanks for sharing!

Day 2 of the challenge

I started the challenge yesterday after seeing Cami on The Today Show. I could relate to her experience as I have been dealing with MS since 2005. Anyway, yesterday I took my mother to lunch and paid for it (highly unusual for me - even paid the tip myself!) And today I actually woke up thinking about what type of gift I was going to give today - a positive place to be.....I am now trying to develop a new understanding of the definition of the word "gift".
