Day 8 I gave my husband a back massage. He had had a hard day, and he was on my last nerve complaining - instead of snapping at him I sat him down in a chair and massaged him. It made him stop talking too, without any argument ;)

What I received was the great feeling that maybe things will change - even that they already have, dramatically. I mean I remember race riots and MLK being killed. This is great times

I received the realization that some of the criticisms I have gotten and taken to heart lately have been ... crap. Long tortuous story of how I got there (it also came in my inbox, come to think of it!) but it was a great gift to receive.
