The gift of touch for a daughter who must feel alone was just the right gift. I have teenagers and can totally relate to the sadness coming toward me as they walk out of school.

- I am 40 years old. I am a stay-at-home mom. I have two beautiful daughters. I have an amazing husband, who I have been married to for 19 years. I have two Golden Retrievers. I have a degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education and a Masters in Technology. I taught 1st grade for 6 years. As my children get older, I am realizing more and more that I have forgotten who I am and what I like to do, so with this 29 day journey, I'm hoping to discover more of ME!

Spirited Child Round 3 Day 8
Today was a day where my introverted child became an extrovert. This was a difficult task for her. She always says she wishes she could be more like her sister, who is a bubbly extrovert 24/7. I told her we are who we are and we need to embrace that. That didn't go over very well, "OMG Mom!" Well anyway, I'll have to keep working on that life long lesson of loving yourself, ha.

Alligator Tears! Round 3 Day 7
I wish Mom's could fix all their children's boo-boo's. I never thought I would have to live through middle school and high school all over again. This time I relive those days through my daughters. Some happy and some pretty heavy hearted times. I take their pain and their heavy hearts and I cry for them.

I'm Such a Sucker for Animal Fundraisers! Round 3 Day 6
They do it on purpose...They show you all these cute, irresistable pictures of all the animals in the shelters that need help. How can you say no to that? Well, in my case, I never say no. I am a huge animal lover, especially with dogs. I have two Golden Retrievers, who are like my children and I would go to the end of the world and back for them.
