I thought my day of giving ended at 8am, but boy was I wrong. I walked outside at 9am and found raisin bread and blueberry bagels left on my bench. It is only 8:00am and I can honestly say , that I gave 2 gifts already today. Normally, i dont answer the phone in the mornings, I am too busy getting the kids ready for aschool, but when my phone rang at 7:30, I decided to be nice and answer it. I didn't want to give someone a tangible gift. I didn't want to send something in the mail. I woke up wanting to give something different. I knew it would" come to me" so I waited. Around 10:30am my kids came back from playing at a friends house and said that their friend cut his foot on a piece of glass and his mom was taking him to the hospital. One week of giving and I feel amazing!!!! Today is my sons birthday and I want to give him a great birthday. I played with him all morning, with playdoh, toy cars, candy land, shutes and ladders etc... wr wqtched TV together and read books. I made him cupcakes and let him lick the spoon. I didnt yell at him all day either ( whcih was hard to do at times) I have reflected on my past week of giving and remember other gives I gave that made someone smile.
