- I was raised in Atlanta, Georgia. I am a kidney transplant survivor. I am happily married for 14 years to Joseph Washington, Jr., the love of my life and the donor of my kidney. I have two children, Tyler, age 9, and Julian, age 22. I I am a certified yoga and meditation practitioner. Also a self-taught abstract artist who has sold my pieces in the Creative Spirit Gallery in downtown Decatur.
Iam the creator of B’Tyli Natural Skin Therapies, an all-natural skin and body care company. The author of Living Within The Silver Lining- finding your blessings inside the storms. An inspirational book about my 20 year struggle with chronic kidney diseaae, the lost of my family members, my brother being murder and how I got through my storms by ilving with the the silver lining of my life.
