I started early this morning, this new year by giving to Rainforest Alliance. I read about the simple gives and will incorporate some of these ideas on my first day of retirement. Today January 1, 2010

Busy, busy, busy but managed to give in the red kettle and a bunch of foodstuffs among other things. Was rewarded by making Christmas cookies with my grandchildren.

Today I was provided the opportunity to give a lady with diabetes information how to be absolutely cured of diabetes.I was also given the opportunity to help an elderly lady with cramps in her calves.I gave my friend some movies that I had taped for her.See More

Sometime ago I read a book called "Three Cups of Tea" by Greg Mortenson. This man builds schools in rural areas mainly for girls in Pakistan and Afghanistan. www.threecupsoftea.com Today I gave to this project again. He is doing an excellent work. Today I took a big leap of faith. I gave to www.AngelTree.org This is an organization that provides Christmas presents to Prisoner's children. I am about to be unemployed, however I asked God to show me what I could give today and this is what He showed me.
