OK....I've decided that blogging every day will not be in the cards for me as our business kicks off for the Spring! But I will continue to blog occasionally to keep in touch. I'm still gifting daily and my favorite one was on the last day of the Home Show (yesterday). As vendors we get several free passes to the show. We usually have enough friends and family that want them, but this year we had several that didn't get used. So 3 hrs. prior to the end of the show I walked out to the front… Continue
Day 3, R 2 Fighting the blues!

The weather has been very gloomy here for days. it's hard not to start feeling kinda blue when it's cloudy for so long. So today I took my mom out to lunch....just to get us BOTH out of the house ....fighting those blues!! Then I cleaned house with the help of my 4 yr. old grandson who LOVES to help. (He really is quite good at sweeping the floors!!) Decided I needed to pay him a dollar for all his help. This MADE his day!!......viewing the world through his heart and eyes is SUCH a gift to me!!
Day 2, R2 Gave myself permission

Today I gifted myself by giving myself permission to stay home from the 1st day of show and rest, catch up on bill paying, laundry, house stuff. I WAY "overdid" the last 3 days and if I'm going to get through the rest of the Home Show (4 days total)....I need to be here....RESTING!!!

Today was the day we moved into the convention center where the Home Show is held. It's just a matter of setting up our booth, along w/ all the other businesses. My husband was kinda sad-grouchy-negative because this is the 2nd year anniversary of his dad's death. Wanting to put alot of positive energy into this show....I decided to greet the other vendors and wish them luck and to have a great, successful show.
