Day 6 (did I miss a day?)
Today, my gift is that of my own happiness. I will strive today to stay in the "Happy Zone" and share that with anyone I interact with. Positivity and good energy is a valuable thing to share, I'm thinking.

Day 5 - Do biscuits count?
We are snowed in - 8+ inches of snow fell here in the foothills of NC on Friday and Saturday. I cooked a pot of homemade vegetable soup yesterday, and then made some Southern biscuits especially for my husband (Brit' by birth and Aussie half of his life). He calls them scones, but he loves them. If his happiness while eating them is a measure of a gift, then I guess it qualifies!

Yesterday (day 1) was my monthly lunch with my cousins - three women who live nearby. I received a true gift four years ago when my husband and I moved to this area, and I was able to reconnect with this part of my family that I had not had contact with in years. Stickers for my grandchildren - always a hit. I don't get to see the three of them very often, so I try to send fun stuff as often as I can. Fun stickers for Valentine's Day - set to arrive on Monday, February 1. I can see the smiles and hear the giggles from here!

Today, I have been so focused on work, it had to be a "work thing". I work from home for a small medical IT company and I wear many hats for the company. The owners have given me "carte blanche" for what I need to do to keep customers happy, so today I gave two of our customers two free days of onsite assistance by one of our trainers.
