- Why I'm choosing to give:
- Because it just feels good :-) I had been doing it sporatically, but would like it to become second nature.
- What I'd most like to receive:
- After reading the book, I think I actually need to learn a little more about receiving. It's easy for me to give others help when they need it, but it's very hard for me to ask or receive it in return. I'm learning this is a gift to others in and of itself.
- How did you hear about the 29-Day Giving Challenge?
- Someone on a friend's facebook page, who was doing 40 bags in 40 days for lent, had mention that she was in the middle of "29 Gifts." I did a little digging, bought the book, and here I am.

Hello everyone! For whatever reason, it seems like I have a tough time completing a full round for the third time. I still pop in from time to time to look at blogs and try to catch up. Today, I caught myself getting cranky in the car because I wanted to park in a spot and an older lady was taking up space, and time, on the passenger side of her car loading groceries in. Thursday the chocolate chip cheesecake bars went over awesome last night, so that was a good gift yesterday.
Today, I hugged a couple of patients on my overtime four hour shift this morning. This evening I went to a "we're not having a rehersal dinner dinner" for Krista and Chris' wedding tomorrow. He won a room rental at a bowling alley that had four lanes, four couches and a bar (unattended, but stocked with pizza). It was mostly family and a few friends. We had a good…

One more day after today. It was another easy day. Yesterday I felt something inside me break loose as far as the work thing goes. I don't know if I've been making a mountain out of a molehill or not, but if management doesn't care if I get well trained on a scanner I've never used why should I? It's very liberating.
