We love doing the Boo at Halloween and I honestly never even thought of doing it for Valentine's Day. It's actually blizzard weather here in Indiana but I bet the kids and I could go up to the retirement home and get the Hugging going on…

February - "You've Been Hugged"

Today, I came across 2 basic valentine's cards and decided to do a variation of the halloween "You've been Boo'd" tradition.I will pick up a few valentines trinkets (dollar store is a great place to look) and candies and put them in 2 inexpensive gift bags with some tissue. Profile Information

Why I'm choosing to give:: I'd like to see what happens. I am one to do spontaneous giving, but infrequently. I'd also like to inspire my husband and children to be more generous and charitable with their gestures, belongings and blessings.

What I'd most like to receive:: An occasional smile would be great! I'd like to feel like maybe I've helped someone believe there are good people in the world, just when they were about to give up hope.

How did you hear about the 29-Day Giving Challenge?: I found the book in the bookstore. I couldn't buy it then, but didn't want to wait to access the site!

About me:: I a married mother of 3 children ages 11, 9, & 7. I stay at home with my kiddos and feel very blessed to be able to do that.
