I think yesterday and today were all about small gives, love and support. Warm smiles, hello's to people I don't even know on the street, being there with my friend Charlie as we visited his relatives yesterday and today for Xmas celebrations, which isn't his favourtie thing to do! It was interesting receiving an email from 29 Days about giving from obligation and scarcity, has made me stop and think have I been doing that lately? I think so and it stopped me in my tracks the past couple of days. Day 20 and 21... smudging and sponsorying a child
Day 20... I decided to give myself a BIG give today and cleansed my apartment using the technique of smudging to clear out negative energies etc. Then I sprayed everywhere water with orange incense to welcome in positive new energy in my home and life. - Why I'm choosing to give:
- It makes me humble to know I've made a difference in someone else's life... even if just a little. I love to give, but also need to acknowledge that I am entitled to receive just as much. However, I know I receive just as much from the act of service or giving as the other person does, without knowing it. Plus I feel I need to change my own habits in life and this is a good way to start.
- What I'd most like to receive:
- Positive change in my world and for the rest of the world too... a greater one conscience!

- I have just moved to the United States, living in Boston, MA, so I am also establishing a network or community of friends, which takes time. Doing something like this challenge enables me to have access to a like minded community and share my thoughts and processes as I go through this challenge. I am a spiritual gal, a professional accountant, a sporty person, a yogi, a nice person with a sweet soul who is willing to give and change the world in some way.

Day 20... Day 18, Friday... I struggled for most of the day on this one and in the end I sent an ecard to Mary in Michigan which was suggested by one of the givers re European bookcrossing, something like that! Anyway, I am sure Mary will receive her ecards soon and I am really happy to have participated in such a nice gift.
