I started over with Day 1 yesterday, determined not to let things get away from me this time. I made a loan on Kiva.org (which I knew nothing about before reading the 29 Gifts book). So yesterday (Day 10) unfolded in an unexpected way and even though I gave out compliments and words of encouragement, I didn't recognize an actual gift. I thought about counting my putting the new toilet paper on the holder in the restroom at the restaurant, but somehow it seems cleaner to begin again.

Yesterday was Day 10, and I had a delivery to make to the airport. The thought occurred to me that I should stop in the little Borders Book Store there and see if they had "29 Gifts". They did and I bought it as a gift, for whom? I don't know yet!! It is waiting, I am waiting to be shown who will be the recipient. Yesterday (Sunday) was Day 7 and before I could give my gift, my son and I were spontaneously treated to a coffee by a casual friend we bumped into at the store!
