I gave an extra big tip to my server today.

Day 8-9

Day 8 I was feeling under the weather, so I gave myself the day off from everything. I just rested.
Day 9 I took the three oldest kids shopping for their needs for the snow that's on its way starting tomorrow. We went to the grocery store and we picked up an extra couple of cans of food for the food drive. I gave my heartfelt appreciation to the bagger who remembered how I like my groceries packed (no frozen foods against the lettuce!).

I made two meals for our friends who are visiting from out of town. I put a lot of effort into the dinner, and I got great compliments, which felt very nice.

Today I did a lot of finishing up on giving that I started a couple of days ago. I sent the gloves out. I sent out one of my encouragement cards. I gave my husband the media player that I researched and ordered for him to replace the one my son broke. He was so excited about how nice the new one was. (Of course, I'm gonna get to use it. So I gave it to myself, too. And he downloaded some stuff that I have been wanting to listen to onto it for me.)
