O.k., i'm gonna toot my horn a little here so beware. I make KICK-ASS CD mixes! Yup, you heard right. In fact, it's almost a dying art form. Ever since high school, i've been making mix tapes. Which soon progressed to mixed CD's. Now i do create alot on the ol' iPod. But my favorite is still the CD mix for stashing in the car and pulling out for maximum driveability tuneage. Day Twenty-Eight...

Cami and i have been eyeing a community garden not too far from our home. It's a big, beautiful sprawling garden in the midst of Hollywood. Once you get inside, the city completely disappears and all you hear are birds singing, hoes a-diggin', and hoses a-sprinklin'. A real beaut. We're fairly determined to get a plot there to call our own to start growing our own vegetables and stuff. I had taken a Voice Over class recently where one of the instructors and one of the guest instructors were discussing how a newcomer to animation could work themselves into an already established group of voice actors working for a particular series or show. Day Twenty-Six...

My wife asked me to call Sprint PCS to make a basic request of switching our phone plan from 3000 anytime minutes to 1500 minutes since we simply weren't using even half of the 3000 minutes. Simple right? You'd think anyway. Day Twenty-Five...

Being a Voice Over actor, i take great joy in NOT having to be too concerned about my appearance. I find great comfort in working in a darkened booth or studio with a script right in front of me while dressed in ratty jeans, t-shirt, 3 days of facial scruff or what have you. I mean, i don't go in a TOTAL slob but it's all about ZERO concern regarding appearance or script memorization. I apologize for not responding before this!! Just saw your blog! I KNOW! Cunningham is a great agency! Good for you! Who do you have for On Camera? I just finished reading Cami's book last night...my gift to Marty was to finish it (through sleepy eyes) so he could take it with him to NY on the train to read today. He was psyched! I'm glad that you and Cami have a decent hotel to stay at when you go to NY. As I said, next time you are back East and can manage it, Marty and I would love to have you, Cami and your Mom here for dinner.

Thanks Mark - I am not usually into formal giving. I try to stay open to spontaneous giving every day though. So this is a more concious thing for me. I always feel good when I am at the service of others or empowered to lead by example-it definately makes my day brighter. I have already contacted several people I know are in need of some love and hope - thanks for the inspiration.
