- Why I'm choosing to give:
- I have embarked on a journey to be more open to the universe. For many years I have experienced the benefits of "giving" but I want to take it up a notch and be more "intentional" in my giving. My core belief is that we were put on this earth to help one another and I believe there is a desperate need for people to feel loved and appreciated. Participating in this challenge is a very tangible way to express my core beliefs.
- What I'd most like to receive:
- I am not going in to this challenge with the expectation of "receiving" anything, but I would be thrilled if I were able to obtain some clarity about how I can combine my gifts, talents and passions into a new career.
- How did you hear about the 29-Day Giving Challenge?
- A friend recommended the book which I LOVED!
- About me:
- I have been an RN for almost 30 years and feel that in my current position I am no longer "helping" people. I have worked under tremendous pressure that has impacted my health negatively. I became a nurse because I love people and want to impact their lives in a positive manner. I have been told that I have the gift of encouragement and I want to discover or create an opportunity where I can encourage women who have lost their passion for life. My current journey has introduced me to yoga, meditation and energetic healing and I have personally seen how this has taken me from a place of despair and depression to reconnecting with joy and passion and discovering the abundance that surrounds me. The 29 Gifts Challenge fits beautifully into my journey and will further open my eyes to the gifts of life that surround me daily.
