Day 2: On Saturday I picked up some students that needed a ride to the basketball game. After the game we all went out to Chuck E. Cheese and had a blast.
Day 3: We went to a Super Bowl party and brought a bunch of soda and ice.
Day 4: Only one of my students has to pay for lunch (the rest get free lunch). Her lunch account was low and I put in a few bucks without telling her.
Day 5: We are a uniform school and the students are required to wear…

Day 4: One of my former co-workers got transferred to a different school where she had no supplies or textbooks whatsoever. My fiance and I cleaned out our garage of all of the extra teaching materials I had around and delivered them to her house.…

Give a little ~ GALfriend said… Yey for GOOD teachers, the ones that care, the ones that put forth sincere effort, especially the ones who teach more than what can be found in curriculum text books. You are worth your weight in gold. I say we scrap all these award shows for actors (OK, love seeing the dresses, but really?) and start having award shows for REAL heroes that are truly impacting our lives. Bless you, Jennifer.
