Day 7-9

The last three days I gave to the The World Hunger Fund, a Children's Adoption Program, took a friend to lunch and sent about 20 "gratitude" emails on a social site. It hasn't been at the forefront of my mind as much and I feel I need to ramp it up and become more involved with other 'giving' activites!

In the last three days I have contributed to the Humane Society (and No-Kill Shelters), the Obama Campaign and numerous "gratitude" emails on social sites and supportive emails. I am definitely becoming more aware that I do give more than I thought. The big difference is that when I am just too tired or don't feel like it, I make the extra effort. Each day I am holding the space for an opportunity to present itself and breaking my "planning" MO.

I've realized in the last week that I had become so focused on promoting the radio show and network that I was not spending time in "gratitude". I just didn't seem to have the "time", which is in part why I took on this challenge! I am the ultimate planner, so I was figuring out what to give when, which took me out of gratitude, again. So, I took on letting opportunities present themselves and being in the moment.
