Why I'm choosing to give:: I've been touched by an angel in the presence of a fighter named Lubabat Alabi. Through Lubabat I've learned that life gives us obstacles, but through it all we shall smile. The gift of giving one thing a day can make a difference. And I want to make a difference in a major way.

What I'd most like to receive:: I'm not looking for any acolades. I'm just looking for the satisfaction of knowing I've made a difference to someone else. No matter how big or small my deed may be....that it had made an impact in some form or fashion.

Here I am....trying to catch up on my last couple of days missed. I'm one of the lucky souls who work the 3rd shift. I won't lie....I do complain about this God forbidden shift, but I'm glad I do have a job. And I thank God every day for it.

My 29 Day of giving POST takes some getting used to. I have every intention on logging on daily, but it just don't work out in my favor. So here we go. Since my last post, we received the sad news of our Lubabats passing. It hit me like a ton of bricks. Every Sunday for it seems like months I've been lifting Lubabat up in prayer at church. Today is my first day of my 29 Day Giving Challenge. I've been tryna to find time to log on and commit to actually joining and making moves in becoming a new me. A giving me. Sometimes it will be funny because they can be very fresh and bad behaved and there will be times when you are so sad because you feel helpless to do anything. GOD is with you and your father. Just be strong and hold on. You will get through your difficulties. Your dad is Blessed everyday he can wake up even when he has trouble.
