I just visited Ojai a few weeks ago for the first time - you are truly blessed. I don't know why, but part of my experience there stays with me.

Profile Information

Why I'm choosing to give:
Because I was CHALLENGED to.
What I'd most like to receive:
Not looking to receive; looking to give.
How did you hear about the 29-Day Giving Challenge?
At Thanksgiving Dinner - from ROB
Do you agree to read and follow the 29Gifts Code of Conduct once you join our site?
Yes

doing vs not-doing

This challenge has reminded me of the Toltec teaching of not only doing (that which you normally would not do), but also not-doing (that which you normally would do). Sometimes the not-doing is much harder. Thinking of the things I can not-do: not speak the first thoughts that come into my head. Not rush in front of everyone who I *think" are moving too slowly. Not judge the 3 people who ate next to me at Village Inn & incessantly complained about the homeless. Not procrastinate. Not add more sugar to my coffee. Oh my ! The list goes on and on...
