This is where I found myself giving yesterday~

As a teacher I have the luxury of JUNE, JULY & AUGUST

As a Mom of two twenty something girls and wife of 24 years, this one has come to terms to live by~

One would expect Mom to bake, cook, clean and launder.

One would expect Mom to listen, unconditionally and open a bottle of wine and shoot the breeze.

One would expect to be held to critical standards, as this turn about is fair play.

One would expect to dry tears, smear antibiotic salve over newly opened skin even at their ages.

So lets let the giving begin again, now that my crazy Spring has passed and I survived.



Our family has been doing somethings behind the scenes for a young one in the system, background checks and finger prints for the county so we would be available IF the time came. Friday we gave our home, time and love to this young lady. This morning I dropped her off for Summer school, we hope she had the time of her life, knowing if she gets to come back, we won't have the red carpet rolled out… Continue
