Wow---time seems to be speeding up so much I can not keep track!!I did the gift of bringing my neighbors together, and we all had a really good time. We walked over and each of us saw the others apartment and talked about the different designs and ooohed and ahhhed at what everyone else had done to their condo. Then one of my neighbors came out of her place and said she lost her cat----could we help? Since I can relate to the panic that comes with the loss of an animal, I jumped at the chance.…See More

Wow time is going so fast---I didn't mean to not blog, I have been doing the 29 gifts loyally. Trying to keep track of the gifts is a challenge.A few of the things I have been gifting...... Because I am being open to giving, I notice that I look into peoples eyes more. I have conversations with the person behind the coffee counter. I give the dollar to the guy holding a sign. I listen a bit longer, I write an extra e-mail, and I feel more blessed than I have in a long time.I received a gift from my sister today in the mail. So yesterday was day 8. I had one of the best days I have had in a long time. My friend Rachael is visiting so it makes me more motivated since both of us are looking for work right now in the same ent/host/producing/internet/ field. - I was going to give thanks for the 28 days before thanksgiving (blog about one thing a day I am grateful for) and now this seems like the perfect companion thing to do. I also am launching a new website TRYSOMETHINGNEW.US in 2010 where I will be trying something new everyday for 365 days hoping others will join me in trying something new every day!

- I am a host/actress who has lived in L.A. for the past 15 years. I do stand-up comedy because I believe the greatest joy is to laugh. Well I have officially lost track of days and time....but I have not given up giving every day I am giving and it feels great.
I don't think this is going to be just a 29 giving challenge, I have turned it into a daily habit that shall continue.
