Today I gave the lady behind me in the supermarket line my stickers. Depending on which supermarket you shop at depends on what promotions they have. Some supermarkets issue stickers that when you collect a certain amount, you can redeem them for something like a crockpot, rice cooker etc.

Today I wrote a letter to an Aunt and Uncle - I don't see them often and they were estranged from the family for many years. My uncle made a move to bridge the differences when he contacted me just before I moved to Melbourne (back in 1999). Today I popped a card into the post to my parents. It was a simple card, yet for me, a very powerful card. The card was to them from me, and it said, Just a little note to say I love you and thank you for the support you've given me throughout the years.



Why was it so powerful? Because I cannot remember when I told them that I loved them. It's not something we do as a family.

Today I sat in a seat to stop a teen sitting down because I could see an older lady getting on the train. When she got closer, I offered her the seat. She was surprise and at the same time thankful.



Offering a seat to an older person is something I do naturally. The un-natural part for me was actually rushing to get a seat.
