I have been busy as a little bee so have not had a chance to do any updates!



09/05/09 = I had intended to volunteer at the local community center but found out that they didn't any help for the event that day. I instead donated a brand new lotion for their sink.



09/06/09= Met up with a mentor and gave him a thank you card and nice gourmet dark chocolate.



09/07/09=Wrote a nice recommendation on LinkedIn for someone.

Last Friday, I decided to do something a little different for my 29Gifts mission. I decided to get a little creative and decorate a card for one of the forum members here. I unleashed my creativity and brought out all of my artist power tools! It was great to have so much fun and hopefully the recipient will feel all of the l♥ve!

I also want to mention that I am also grateful because I just realized how much I cannot live without my art!

Alright-y then! This morning I got up and wrote a thank you letter for a life long friend whom I met in grad in school. She has been there in the good, bad,mean and lean, in between times of my life. She recently sent me an uplifting book by surprise! I was so touched by it and the fact that she sent along right after she moved across the country! Okay. Today was a good day o' giving! I decided to do a "donate and run" or more like "drive thru donation" for my 29Gifts mission. I had a DVD ("Woman, Art Thou Loosed") that I felt needed to be released for others to benefit. Even though I do not consider myself to be a religious person per se (more spiritual), there were some important messages in the movie. So, I drove up to my library book return bin and donated it!
