- Why I'm choosing to give:
- I have a hard time giving without worrying about what's going to happen with the item (money, clothing, etc) after it leaves my hands. I would like to learn how to give freely.
- What I'd most like to receive:
- I would like to worry less about my health problems (overweight, etc) and do for others.

- About me:
- I just turned 42 and have been married for 2 1/2 years. I don't have any children, but I do have a 13 year old stepdaughter, Kari. I am a Christian and accepted Christ as my Savior in May of 2001. I usually pass up opportunities to give because I can't get past the fact that my gift will not be put to good use.

Today I took my "seatmate" Laronda a small plastic container of jewelry cleaner. She has a nice wedding diamond and said that her husband is buying her another diamond ring for Valentine's Day, so she'll use the cleaner on that ring, also.

Had a dentist appointment today and I had to have a tooth repaired (glad I wasn't imagining the pain) and filled. I went to Panera Bread afterwards and bought my dentist's office a baker's dozen of bagels. They were happy and thankful and I'm glad I did this because they let me be on a payment plan and have treated me great since I first became a patient in 2001!

I decided to scrub out my husband's shower in his bathroom. It was gross! I'm so excited for him to get home tonight to surprise him with it being done, because he normally cleans it himself.

I spent 2 1/2 hours on the Internet, phone, instant messaging, etc. getting my husband's new Droid RAZR phone set up for the first time. He then took me out to dinner at Texas Roadhouse (Filet Mignon=YUM) and bought me 4 new tires. We haven't seen each other much in 2 weeks, so we had some laughs at dinner and while waiting for my tires to be installed.
We watched "Contagion" ON DEMAND and enjoyed our dinner leftovers.

Hi RachelleZak and welcome to this site. I hope you will enjoy your stay here and make it a long one. There is lots of things to read on the Home page and get active in. There is also downloads that you may want use. One keeps track of your gifting and how it felt to you. There are also many ideas for gifting that are very simple, like smile at someone who you don't know, holding a door open for someone, letting someone go ahead of you in line at a store etc. There is also many groups within the site for you to look over and decide if you want to join or not. There is never any pressure. I hope you will let me know if you are having any problems or questions. I will try and help and if I can't will try and find someone who can.
