Day 12 and my life is changing
I learned about the 29Gifts from a friend of mine 2 weeks ago. She is the President of the local Public Library Board and was telling me about this year's library Public Read Program. Each year they pick a book to read and encourage the whole community to read the same book. Then, they have several discussions where people can talk about the book using specific discussion questions. This year they picked two books--- "Pay it Forward" and "29 Gifts". In November, we're sponsoring a cause that has been started by fellow giver, Lubabat. We are so deeply touched and impressed by Lubabat's strength of character & spirit. Lubabat was diagnosed with MS in the mid 90s and then in August of 09, she was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer.
